Florian’s Gate

The name of the gate comes from the nearby Church of St. Florian. Built in the defence walls, was one of the seven gates leading to the city. What makes it unique among others? It was “the gate of glory”, the entrance of the royal route, through which Polish kings entered the city after a victory on a battlefield, coronations, or for ceremonial reasons.
